THE COSMOS
So, I follow this amazing artist on Instagram, Tanya Shatseva. Her art truly inspires me; she can bring dreams to life with her paintings, and I aspire to reach her level someday.🙈
Back in school, I struggled with imagination and doubted my ability to create from my own ideas.
But over the years, though, I've improved. I'm still learning and growing—it's not like I'm a creative powerhouse now. I find ideas on Pinterest and follow inspiring people on Instagram, but I'm constantly learning.

Last August, I painted this piece and named it 'Cosmos', A lady blending into the vast expanse of the universe..

I usually buy my art supplies from Starmark because they have an amazing collection.
So, while browsing for a canvas, I spotted a neon green bottle of acrylic paint. Naturally, I couldn't resist buying it—who needs self-control anyway?😶😶
Later, as I was scrolling through Pinterest, I got an idea: why not paint something related to the universe, like galaxies and stars?
(By now, you might think I'm obsessed with spherical shapes and neon colors... well, maybe I am! Haha!)

After much contemplation, I finally started this painting. It took forever, especially after long days at the office. I’d sit down for at least an hour every day, and after nearly a month of work, I finally finished it.
It's acrylics on canvas board (14*18) inch.
Yours truly,
Subarna
